An outfit in honor of my birthday :)

Since it's almost my birthday, and since I just got this skirt, here is my next post. :)

The awesome skirt I just got.

The shirt, I recommend wearing an undershirt.

A cute cloche :)

And, lastly, a pair of adorable flats.

I probably won't be having another post for quite a while... I am graduating high school in November and going on a trip in early December so maybe inbetween... we'll see. Thank you all for having so much patience with me. :)

Fall is just around the corner!

For those of you that have had enough of the summer and the heat, say, "Yay!" right where you are... :)
Yes, it might be hard to believe, but fall really is just around the corner. So, I have put together an outfit fitting for the not-too-hot-not-too-cold weather coming up (hopefully).

The shirt. (I recommend putting an undershirt under it...)

The skirt...

I went with flats this time because I think they fit the skirt better...

The Victorian necklace... (Isn't it beautiful??)

 And, of course, a handbag.

Here are the links...

Yay for Dresses!

I apologize for not posting sooner... I have been really busy trying to graduate high school. I finally found time to get together another outfit though, so here ya go!

'Alexia'
(They named the dress)
All I have to say is 8 letters. A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E.

A bracelet... (there really is no room for a necklace.)

And last but not least, the shoes.

My Essay and Another Outfit!

This outfit I am posting I have had in mind for months now, so please enjoy it...

For some weird reason, I can't seem to take the picture of this skirt off the website, so here's the link. The color to go with this outfit would be white.

 And just to be different...

Some cute flip-flops to go with:

And some accessories. (Keep in mind, as I said before, "Just to be different.")

1, 2, 3... how many strands do you need?

Actually this purse is kinda cute. :)

And last but not least, for those of you that would like to see my essay here it is:

Modesty Played Out

A thirteen-year-old boy once said, “Modest girls are always more pretty to me than immodest girls.” How you act and dress on the outside is a statement of who you are on the inside, it is modesty played out. It is the condition of your heart played out in something tangible that people look at and get an accurate impression of you. That impression you’re leaving is either going to reflect Jesus or reflect your flesh getting the better part  of you.

It’s hard to be modest when you flirt with guys and wear clothes that lure them. In addition, if you’re looking for a godly guy, dressing immodestly wouldn’t be a way to get one. But don’t dress for guys. Don’t dress for the godly guys or for the others. Dress to glorify GOD! Hence, where is your heart when it comes to modesty? Do you want or try to look like the world? Do you try to draw attention to yourself? Why do you want to buy that piece of clothing? Do you put that certain piece of clothing on to please someone? Instead of focusing on all this, seek to glorify God in what you wear and how you act.

Modesty is not a joke. Modesty is not pride, ego, and arrogance. Modesty is not craving recognition and attention. Modesty is not about outward appearance. Modesty is following Jesus. It is humility, meekness, purity, and showing His qualities on the outside, through the way you act, walk, talk, and dress. In fact, modesty is about being different from this world, that is, reflecting the light of Jesus in the darkness.

Modesty is way more than clothes. I think we girls let fashion get a little too important, and it blinds us from seeing the real meaning of modesty. Jesus, even though He was God, did not demand and cling to His rights as God, He made Himself nothing; He took the humble position of a slave and appeared in human form. And in human form he obediently humbled himself even further by dying a criminals death on the cross; that is humilty which is a big part of being modest. Can we do that? Can we  humble ourselves and take the lower place whether it means not putting on this or that piece of clothing or  just dying to ourself in whatever circumstance? If you’re looking to be modest, my advice would be to adopt the mindset of Christ.  Search your heart to see what your motives really are.

A link for you and just guess... another outfit!!!

For all you people out there wondering why it is so important to dress modestly here is a link I recommend

Okay... this next outfit is like totally cute... and I hope you all agree!!

Okay, I know this isn't like the greatest shirt, and some people might think it doesn't match, but I think it looks great with the skirt below, and it is kinda cute, right?

This is like the cutest skirt EVER!!!! Seriously, you can't get much better than this.

I love high heels... there, I said it. There's just one problem... they make me inches taller when I really don't need to be.

So for the people that don't like high heels, I found some sandals.

Okay, I am not sure this will match completely, but if it doesn't there's a white one too.

Until next time... speaking of next time, I just wrote a modesty essay for school and I will be putting it in my next post so check back soon!
